Here’s another Bohemia etch – Thistle. I have owned a number of pieces of this etch. Fairly common but popular I think. It resembles Tiffin’s Thistle etch.

I have collected (and broken) pieces over the years. This started because it was the original pattern of the CNR dining card and also matched my china, it is a very romantic pattern. My greatest loss was my creamer to the set 🙁

Howdy – Thnx for the info re the CNR dining card. I didn’t know that. I’ve never seen a creamer to the set. The only ‘serving’ piece I’ve ever owned was a jam pot. I sold some pieces some time ago to a gentleman in Alberta. He told me he was desperate to obtain some wine glasses. I’ve never seen any. I know that replacements.com has them sometimes, but they are costly. Do you ever come across them? I have seen the decanters and brandy snifters locally, the most frequently. There IS something about fine glass, isn’t there. One of my prettiest Depression pieces was broken at Christmas. That’s the risk you take when using them, but still….it’s ‘painful’. Of course I have plenty of replacements to fill a spot! Thnx for your comment.
I think I deleted my last post…grrrr…. Anyways. Hi!!! I have several pieces of this crystal from when Rob and I were first married. I have 3 brandy snifters,4 champagne glasses (flutes), 2 white wine glasses ( unfortunately broken a few over the last 34 years!!!!) I love it!! I’ll check your blog out…love to talk in person!! XO Lynn
I don’t remember seeing these while enjoying some beverages with you. Maybe YOUR glasses actually initiated my interest. If you want to replace them, lots of places to look. Yes…..let’s go crazy and talk on the phone!
