I’ve posted this etch in other blanks and I have another couple shapes.  I’m going to have to hunt them down and take some photos. Cornflower Tumblers (2) But I’ve never come across the etch in a tumbler before.

I’ve earlier reported that Hughes used blanks from a number of the major U.S. glass producing companies, as well as European companies.  I have some gorgeous pink stems that were etched on a Tiffin blank (#15024).  In looking through my one Hughes reference book, my tumblers look very similar to those in a photo that have been attributed to New Martinsville, in the 1930s.Cornflower Tumblers

I wouldn’t mind keeping these.  I’m going to have to look for a few more!  Yippie.
